It certainly is strange spending the day after a fight doing something other than recording. As I didn't feel the need to recover after yesterday's bout, I now have a head start on this week's training. I have a feeling I will need it, as I have yet to face the rumored dimensional warrior who defeated Dave.
The question is: what sort of training will I need in order to defeat such an opponent? My knowledge of him is secondhand, but it appears that he is skilled in both magical and martial combat. In order to hold my own against him, I will have to intensify my training in both types of combat. Neglect one or the o

This week's fight was most certainly not on a beach.
I emerged onto a scorched wasteland, with the only signs of vegetation being the blackened remains of trees. Sort of like my adopted homeworld, only hotter, ashier, and with more volcanoes in the distance.
It didn't take long for my opponent to appear. Given the lack of cover in the vicinity, I spotted him almost immediately. He wore a cloak and carried a staff, but the distance and bad air prevented me from making out much more than that. He turned to face me, smiled, and cheerfully spoke. "Wasteland. The perfect place for a mazoku."
Following that, he made

Having just woken up from a good night's sleep, I finally feel rejuvenated. There is still recording to be done, however, and I shall do my best to ignore the fine morning outside until the events of two days ago are no longer at risk of being forgotten.
Following my departure from the battlefield, I engaged in a series of dimensional shifts that eventually took me to the Arena grounds. I had never seen the complex during a tournament round before, due to having always been taken straight to the medical facilities, but from what I had heard it seemed oddly quiet. A lot happened yesterday, perhaps too much for me to record in one sitting. Regardless, now that I have access to my journal again I feel that I should write down as much as possible before the memories fade. I will begin with the battle, a lengthy affair in its own right.
This week's battle took place on a beach.
I've never been particularly fond of sand, but I also didn't have an Earth Stone the last time I'd encountered it in such large quantities. Countless possibilities came to mind as I walked along the beach, and for a moment I regretted having failed to obtain a new Water Stone.

I had a tough decision to make today.
With half my elemental stones gone, my versatility in battle is significantly diminished. Although I am fairly certain that I could locate replacement stones in time for the next round, such an endeavor would be even more certain to consume the entire week than replacing just my Light Stone would have been. In light of this, I have chosen to continue on with what I have.
Dark, Earth, Fire, and Moon. These four stones can be paired in six different combinations. So far I have had the opportunity to test two of these, Earth-Fire and Dark-Fire, in battle. Both Eruption and Shado

This week's battlefield was an island in the sky.
I stepped out of the provided portal and found myself high above the clouds. The island was flat, grassy, and roughly circular. The only object of note was a bell tower on one side. No audience, as far as I could tell. Perhaps the tournament officials didn't trust us to keep our firepower away from the spectators. Unencumbered by armor, and with only a shield strapped to my back for defense, I jogged to the island's center and looked around for any sign of my opponent. Finding none, I briefly wondered if he was running late for the fight.
"Running late, are we?"

I slept well last night, and I woke up in my apartment feeling relatively refreshed. Perhaps there really is something to these journals, as recording my fight yesterday seems to have somehow hastened my recovery. It may be that, by putting my mistakes on paper, I was able to remove them from the forefront of my mind. Now I can focus on preparing for my next fight.
I spent today wandering the streets of Tandy, searching for someone who could help me with an idea I had for my shield. My battle with Dave has made it clear that I can afford to have a bit more mobility, but if I am to remove my armor I will need to bri

I woke up in a hospital last night.
My first fight could have gone better, that is for sure. On the other hand, I don't feel that I did too terribly for my first performance. At least, I wasn't knocked out in the first exchange of blows. Perhaps my recollections of the battle will tell the story best
The first thing that hit me after I stepped out of the portal and into the arena was the noise. There were spectators! I had heard of people watching the fights remotely, but not actually being present for them! A sudden thought gave me a moment of relief. Perhaps the tournament officials had made an exceptio

I spent today practicing Techniques, the channeling of a warrior's energy into his weapon in order to defend himself against magical attacks. Only the most talented of knights back home were able to master these mystical abilities, but I've had some success in the past and I'm going to need some sort of defense against magic in the upcoming tournament. I have an enchanted cloak which could have filled that role, but the blasted thing interferes with my elemental stones.
Yes, I have indeed finally found a use for the elemental stones. I possess no magical powers beyond my Techniques, and my proficiency with those rem

I have returned from Tandy, and the trip has significantly altered my agenda for the next few months. I am still not sure exactly what I have gotten myself into, but the power I stand to gain and the people I will meet surely can't hurt the search for my home.
First, a bit about Tandy. Tandy is a city, though it is a city of such significance that I have named its entire world after it. The locals call the actual planet "Earth", but just about every civilization I've encountered gives their world a similar name. Like all realities, Tandy has shadows in nearby dimensions which closely resemble it. One such "alterna

A major event *content warning*
Alright Y'all. I wanted to explain what's been happening to me lately. The Lack of content, Responses to DMs and general malaise. ** (extra note if you've noted me and i haven't responded note me again please if you want too. I sorta clicked through them to hide the notifications as i couldnt deal with them at the time)** So for most of my life i've been desperately trying to repress and conceal most of my personal desires, need, and my art from those around me IRL. It's been a fucking struggle and I believe I did a well enough job hiding my actual feelings/ identity from almost everyone. Though that came with a Price to my mental stability My art/ occupation created the biggest challenge my efforts to hiding myself. it's often asked what you do for a living, let me see your arts, or how do you get money am'i'right? So eventually I told a few people about my content and always followed it up with "It's exploiting a fetishy" Or " It's a way to get popular in art.." Yeah that
